Bill\\\'s role is to work with the Minneapolis market leadership to continue to elevate CBRE\\\'s agency leasing and other brokerage services offered to tenants, owners and investors of commercial real estate. Before joining CBRE, Bill worked in a similar capacity at Transwestern in Minneapolis. Prior to joining Transwestern, he led the leasing and sales brokerage divisions of Colliers International | Minneapolis - St. Paul (formerly Welsh Companies) from 2003 through September of 2019. Bill began his career working in the transportation industry in various sales and marketing positions. From there, he worked for Minneapolis-based United Properties through 1998. At United Properties, Bill was a Vice President in the Brokerage division and was personally involved with more than 500 lease and sale transactions totaling more than 5 million square feet. From 1992 on, he was consistently one of United’s top producing brokers. After leaving United Properties, Bill served as Vice President at Frauenshuh Companies for four years and was responsible for all of their suburban industrial and office leasing. He also assisted in land acquisition and development projects. Bill joined Welsh Companies in 2003. In the Spring of 2017 Welsh Companies merged into Colliers International. As Executive Vice President of the Brokerage Division Colliers International | Minneapolis - St. Paul, Bill served as an advocate for the brokerage teams, assisting with the development of new business. The addition of Bill’s exceptional leadership and communication skills assisted in further strengthing the cohesiveness of an already dominant leasing and sales team. Bill’s record of success as a broker testifies to his ability to cultivate lasting client relationships and to his strong project management skills.
