Alan has been involved with commercial real estate since 1977. He is a licensed real estate broker who specializes in the sales and leasing of office, industrial and retail properties and the sale of raw land for development. Alan developed and managed commercial real estate for many years, serving as the President of the Gaughan Companies for 17 years.
He holds a BA and MA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He served as the City Planner/Community Development Director for the City of Coon Rapids from 1971-1977.
Alan is active in many community and professional organizations, serving on the board or as chair of several.
