Metro East Commercial Real Estate was formed by Jon Whitcomb in Stillwater, Minnesota. The company’s formation began in 1985 when Jon started buying rental properties and land in and around the Twin Cities metro area. Through the late 1980’s and early 90’s, most of Jon’s business operations were based on rehabbing older homes and small lot splits, which later grew into developing small subdivisions and commercial properties.  It was at that time the sales and leasing of commercial property became his primary focus. As Jon gained a reputation for working hard to meet deadlines and following through to deliver on a promise, the company grew along with the size of the projects. Today Jon actively works on real estate sales, leasing and large and small development projects, and his ownership of Metro East Commercial Real Estate is a superb fit for his clients. The brokerage allows him to offer exposure to the best local network of commercial brokers and, through various associations, regional and national broker networks as well.  With many years of real estate experience, Jon has built an extensive network of relationships with banks and clients, and continues to be a valued resource for real estate solutions in the Twin Cities market.
