Nick has filed thousands of property tax appeals and negotiated substantial reductions in the assessed values of dozens of types of property over the years, resulting in millions of dollars in tax savings each year. For nine consecutive years, from 2010 to 2018, Nick was recognized by Mpls St. Paul magazine, Twin Cities Business magazine and SuperLawyers.com as a Rising Star. The Super Lawyers-Rising Stars list represents the top Minnesota attorneys age 40 and younger. Nick serves as a Regional Editor of the ABA Property Tax Deskbook, and frequently lectures on the topics of property taxes, real property valuation, and persuasive writing to audiences of appraisers, attorneys, real estate brokers, property managers, and corporate tax professionals.
